CHRISTMAS MINISODE: “THE MEEK INHERIT THE PODCAST”

Ho Ho Ho! We’re stuffing your stocking with a special episode where we look at the famous, “(The) Night of the Meek” from not one, BUT TWO different Twilight Zone eras! How do they compare? A “Honeymooner” vs. an “Empty Nester”. Piglet vs. Walter Peck. Creepy Elves vs. Bad 80’s Special FX. Which decade does it best? Give it a listen and tell us what you think!

EPISODE 9: “SOME MOST UNUSUAL OBJECTS [OR EPISODES?]”

Devious Frenchmen, a secret Mexican rendez-vous, heavily pushed chicken-fried steak specials…these are just some of the things that await those who stumble upon some of the magical objects found in The Twilight Zone. Join us this week as we get our first dose of Shatner and play with some of the odd trinkets in “A Nick of Time”, “A Most Unusual Camera” and “A Piano In the House”.

EPISODE 8: “MEN ARE FROM MARS, SHORT-ORDER COOKS ARE FROM VENUS”

Mankind is doomed! DOOOOOOMED! On this episode, the brothers take a look at some of the visitors from outer space, and their nefarious plans to conquer our world. The Martians are invading! The Kanamits are putting us in their stew! What the f@ck are these leather-clad greasers doing? It’s “Will the Real Martian Stand Up”, “Black Leather Jackets” and the iconic “To Serve Man” on this episode of S/S/M.

EPISODE 7: “SPEAK OF THE DEVIL”

On this spooOOOOOky Halloween episode, we look at three episodes that deal with the Prince of Darkness himself, and the three hapless nincompoops who try to best him. Satan takes many forms in “Escape Clause”, “Printer’s Devil” and “The Howling Man”. Who wears the horns best? Who is the biggest potato pancake? Will the Andrade brothers still speak to each other when this is over? Let us know what you think!

EPISODE 6: “YOU CAN GO HOME AGAIN”

The brothers look backwards and decide if waxing nostalgic about our youth is really all it’s cracked up to be. We follow our heroes into the past as they defy aging in “Kick the Can”, get lost in the movies in “16 Millimeter Shrine” and creepily stalk themselves and gorge on ice cream sodas in “Walking Distance”. When it comes to time, does “Simpler” equal “Better”? Let us know what you think!

EPISODE 5: “TWISTY PROTAGONISTS”

In this episode of S/S/M, the guys talk about 3 episodes that deal with the whos and whys of their respective main characters. From the killer performances of “The After Hours”, to the terrific clowning in “5 Characters in Search of an Exit”, to the video hell that is “The Lateness of the Hour”, we discuss it all! No pain!  No pain!  None at all!  Give us a listen and hit us up on Facebook with your thoughts!
